Musk has said he would give over the job of running and building Tesla if there was someone who would be better at it.
He is on the mission to build companies to accelerate the better possibilities in the world. These technologies will not stop there, he even makes the company's designs open-source (unpatented) for anyone to take it and bring it to another level.
The set example for humanity...
