Race Against Time To Come Out Feasible Carbon Removal Technology

As countries are developing feasible technologies to stop the reliance on fossil fuels (hydrocarbon) as a primary energy source, the world has already been damaged by a high amount of greenhouse gases that have been emitted since the onset of the Industrial Revolution. Hence the world temperature has been too high to lower down to The Paris Climate Agreement preferable goal of below 1.5 degrees celcius.

Therefore, at the same time, we need to start developing technologies to capture these already emitted carbon dioxides in the atmosphere. However, these technologies that will come out in near future should not be a reason for the industry to keep relying on fossil fuels, as the purpose is not to maintain the carbon level but also to reduce them as lowest as possible over time. With the known downsides of the carbon substances in our life, we hope we will be able to breathe clean air in the future.

For a team that successfully come out with carbon removal solutions to capture at least 1000 tonnes of carbon dioxide in one year. They will be funded with 100 Million Dollars from Elon Musk and the Musk Foundation, for the team to expand their research and development to increase the carbon capture rate of their breakthrough technology.

Technology is to keep humans to advances for a better life than before rather than to stay settle in life because life will be dull and sickening by compromising the potential of the world to be the best place in the universe.
