Avoid Competition By Starting To Be The One

Now with the internet, everyone has access to information and to the market (consumers). When there are traffics shown as in statistics, this shows demand, which shows opportunities for new businesses to enter to have some of the shares.

However, when there are many businesses with the same offerings in the market may not be sustainable in some ways. Especially for the pioneer businesses will face difficulty to stay leading in that market segment.

We do not support monopoly business, but in the current era where duplications can be made easily, this will not be sustainable for some. So how to make our business sustainable and untouched by the potential competitions?

Therefore, when we find ourselves in the emerging industry, where at the beginning not many ventures (competitors) in this unknown feasibility industry - If we believe with our products or services or contents, just keep being consistent! Because consistency will create the result of compound growth as the industry has started to reach its peak.

At that time, we with the opportunity of having resources, networks and ahead of time – keep staying in lead! This can be learned from PayPal and Tesla, as they keep expanding at multiple rates when the industry starts to mature. Because they want to accelerate their growth which creates their brand to be prominent in this new establish-emerging industry in people minds. In other words, when people think about trendy useful products or services, they will think of the brand. Hence, we want to be the brand of the industry.

The competition occurs when emerging industries matured and consumers are seeking alternatives in terms of prices and better offerings. If at that time, we still have a fraction of shares in the potential market valuation, this unchallenging environment will let other new businesses enter. Wherefore, we need to grow rapidly and create challenges “healthily” for other new businesses to keep up.

Yes, it is valid to raise high funding because we will need a massive team to support the company to be able to achieve multiple rates of growth. Don’t expect higher productions with the same amount of resources (workforces and tools), so don't limit them because time is our limitation.

However, don’t be settle when we hold as the market leader. There will be disruption from new businesses with completely different ways of offerings. This will be discussed later...
